Transformer basic and it's principle...
General Information of Transformer
The transformer has no rotating parts, hence it is often called a static transformer.
When energy
is changed into a higher voltage the transformer is called a step-up
transformer but in other case if energy is changed into a lower voltage than
that type of transformer is called step-down transformer.
It means
basically transformer has two types
1. Step-up transformer
2. Step-down transformer
